How to Activate a License on MyCitrix.com

The following instructions explain how to activate a license on mycitrix.com:

1. Log on to www.mycitrix.com.

2. Select Licensing > Citrix Activation System > Activate Licenses.

3. Enter the license number (including the machine code) and select Continue.

4. Select your reseller (select I cannot find my reseller if the reseller is not in the list) and select Continue.



5. Three different screens can appear, depending on the history of the license:

A. If you activated the license for the first time, you will see information about the license, the machine code, and the reseller. Click Continue.



B. If you activated the license before, you will get a screen explaining that the license was activated before. You either accept or deny the statement. If you accept the statement, the next screen shows the activation code.

C. If you activated the license three times before, a warning screen appears stating that the activation limit is reached. On the right hand side you can select whether you want the activation code sent to a location or if you just want to increase the count.

Underneath that you select how you want the activation code delivered: either by email or by fax.

D. The next field asks you why you need to activate the license again. This is basically just for statistical purposes, but you must answer. Select I agree at the bottom of the page and then select Process Request.

6. Depending on what screen you saw before, you get two possible screens:

A. The screen displays the license number, machine code, and activation code.

B. The screen displays the license code and machine code, but the activation code is set to zero. This screen appears when the activation limit is reached. You now wait for either email or fax or you could go to View Licenses (Licensing > Citrix Activation System > View Licenses) and select the activation date for your license. The newest activation code is also displayed..



7. Enter the activation code in the Citrix Management Console. The product is not activated.
